Toray Advanced Film has announced the manufacture and sales of polyethylene based self-adhesive protection film for use in various optical films used in LCDs as well as protective films for plastic boards. The manufacturing facility to be built in Taiwan under the name of Toray Advanced Film Kaohsiung Co.,Ltd. The decision to manufacture the film TORETEC in Taiwan was heavily attributed due to strong request from major Taiwanese manufacturer of light guide plates owning the largest market share in the world. Development of Silver Nano-Wire Based Transparent Conductive Film with Industry’s Best Transparency and Conductivity by Toray Advanced Film
Toray Advanced Film has recently announced the development of new transparent conductive material based on silver nanowire ink, resulting in manufacturing of transparent conductive film with the world’s best transparency and conductivity, as well as light transmittance of 90% or more, plus surface resistivity, which is measurement of conductivity, between 150 and 250 ohm per square using wet coating method.
