Release of New UHF-band RFID Tags by Fujitsu
This follows Fujitsu’s earlier announcement on development of heat-sealable UHF-Band RFID tags for Garment Management back in April. I am assuming this is an upgraded version of the previously announced product. Anyhow, the newly announced flexible UHF-band RFID tags by Fujitsu and Fujitsu Frontech have a high heat resistance characteristics making it the world’s first. It can withstand temperature of 121 degrees Celsius which is necessary during the uniform sterilization process. The new tag is intended to be used in the uniforms of employees at manufacturing plants such as medical supplies and semiconductors with stringent sterilization requirements. Read more
Development of UHF-Band RFID tags for Roll containers by Fujitsu
Fujitsu is at it again in RFID tag department by introducing yet another addition to its RFID tag line of products. This time the newly developed UHF-Band RFID tags are targeted to be used for roll containers which according to Fujitsu required a boost in operational management in order to prevent the loss and theft of roll containers. The newly developed RFID tag is expected to replace the commonly used ledger or bar code system which requires each container to be scanned. The new Tags as specifically designed for metal pipe roll containers for easy attachment so the tags can be read even when stacked together approximately 20mm from the container’s metallic surface. Heat-sealable UHF-Band RFID tags for Garment Management by Fujitsu
Fujitsu made an announcement on availability of its new compact, light weight UHF-Band RFID tag targeted for work uniform management as well as other applications. The newly developed RFID tag in addition of being waterproof is heat, pressure and chemical resistant. Furthermore, the new tag s 40% smaller and 50% lighter by weighing only 1 gram plus it is more flexible than its predecessor. Read more
