NEC Showcases Three New Professional Installation Projectors
NEC Asia unveiled 3 new installation projectors NP3200, NP2200 and NP1200, targeted at educational and corporate environment, designed to meet the demanding integration projects. The new NP installation Series models are intended to fulfill the needs of individuals requiring bright light output for large screen at a reasonable price. Development of system boards for Drive Recorders employing industry first 180° Wide-Angle Lens by Sharp
Drive recorders are like black boxes on the Airplanes capable of capturing images and other information immediately from before and after an occurrence of accident. The Driver recorders have been installed in trucks, buses, taxis and other commercial vehicles but now it is find its way in private vehicles. The newly developed system board LR0G840 and LR0G841 by Sharp is equipped with a 180° Wide-Angle Lens capable of covering the view ahead, to the left, and to the right of the vehicle. The capability of LR0G840 and LR0G841 goes further by recording a high resolution images even at a wide angle view as a result of image sensor and image compression technology developed by Sharp. 3D Touch Panel by Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi Electric demonstrated a prototype of a touch panel during “Interaction 2009” event in Tokyo which the company calls it “3D Touch Panel”. The name follows the capability of the prototype in determining not only the X and Y-axis plane coordinates but also the normal direction, the Z-axis coordinates capable of detecting the distance between a finger and the panel. The prototype which is based on capacitive touch panel technology is of a projection type that is already available in the market. The company has introduced in the prototype only few changes in addition to the base technology such as addition of switch elements in connecting multiple sensors as well as improvement in detection circuitry in reducing its parasitic capacity.
