Panasonic Official Shipment of its Waterproof VIERA Mobile Phone to NTT DOCOMO
Panasonic has officially started the shipment of its new STYLE series P-06B VIERA handset to NTT DOCOMO. The new waterproof P-068 comes with a touch screen display, where by flipping over the display unit and changing to the viewer-style would starts up a touch menu, allowing the user to operate their favorite function with a touch of a finger or stylus. This new P-06B comes with a 13.2 megapixel wide angle camera featuring quick start-up and auto focus, as well as multitude of shooting functions like “intelligent auto mode” for automatically recognizing the scene, “Egao shutter” that shoots instantly when a person smiles and “Omakase choice” for helping to select the best shot among the pictures taken through continuous shooting. Panasonic new VIERA with built-in diversity antenna
The new slim and stylish VIERA “TH-L17F1” which was unveiled by Panasonic on March the 4th comes with four built in digital terrestrial antennas and a newly developed tuner capable of combining all their signals in creating a high quality image. The “TH-L17F1” can pick up all the 12 channels of Japan’s digital TV broadcasts plus the 1Seg broadcast at the point the signal strength weakens. ECO- Thin TVs according to Panasonic
Like other TV manufacturers, Panasonic made announcement of its thin and power saving VIERA series PDP/LCD TVs, 13 of them all together. The PDP Z series with the thickness of 24.7mm has a wireless transmission function for 1080p HDTV images which is in compliance with wireless HD standard. The PDP model discharge area was increased by Panasonic through increase of electrode width of front panel plus using of different discharge gas and fluorescent material. Through these improvements the luminous efficiency was increased by double in comparison to the 2007 released products. Read more
New Panasonic DIGA DVD recorders
Panasonic just made an announcement of a new addition to its DIGA series High vision DVD recorders equipped with HDD. Both “DMR-xp15” and “DMR-XP25V” come with 250GB HDD. The “DMR-XP25V” additionally comes with VHS slot. These new series comes with new generation system LSI which company calls it “UniPhier” and equipped with the second generation MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 encoder which is an advanced AVC encoder. Read more
